How the Earth moves

The Earth has two different movements: rotation and revolution.

ROTATION causes day and night. The Earth takes 24 hours (1 day) to complete one rotation.

REVOLUTION causes the seasons (spring, summer, outum and winter). The Earth takes 365 days (1 year) to complete one revolution.
